DaniAshwin Dani

Dr. Dani received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Florida (UF), Gainesville, FL, USA where he was a part of the Nonlinear Controls and Robotics group in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department. He was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, IL, USA. In 2013, he joined the faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) as Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT, USA, where he is currently an Associate Professor. His current research interests include machine learning for control, human-robot collaboration, and perception. Dr. Dani serves as a member of the conference editorial board of IEEE Control Systems Society (CSS) and Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Mechatronics. CV
